Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in New York City on 22 November 1984) The versatility of her work as an actress has brought her much acclaim, from dramas of the past to thrillers and even adventures. Johansson was the daughter of an architect and producer was brought up in New York City. Hunter, her twin sister, was also born in the City of New York. From a young age, she developed a passion for acting and began performing in commercials by the age seven. Her interest in acting grew quickly, and she was soon after in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. In her early years, Johansson appeared in Sophistry together with Ethan Hawke and made her movie debut at Rob Reiner's North on the set of Rob Reiner's North in. Johansson was later seen in Just Cause (1995) but her debut came in Manny & Lo (1996) a coming-of-age film about orphaned sisters who run away. Then, she was awarded the praise of critics for playing a teenage girl who had been injured and caused her to be disfigured on screen in The Horse Whisperer (1998). Her popularity grew for her performance in Ghost World (2002) as the self-deprecating outcast Rebecca. Renee Felice Smith started her career in entertainment from a very young age. When she was a kid Smith was interested in the field of acting. Smith got her first of many acting jobs at the tender age of six. Smith was in a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. She decided, like most actresses starting out, to refine her abilities in the theatre. While working on different productions in the USA she also had her debut on stage in Wildflower. She studied at an institution called the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
